Sugar!

‎4 grams carbs = 1 tsp sugar!

A small Blizzard has 530 calories and 83 carbs
That = 21 teaspoons of sugar

...2 cups GRAPENUTS
That = 32 teaspoons of sugar!
Add a small glass of juice, that’s another 16 tsp

Could our food supply be part of your problem?
In 1840, a typical person in the U.S. consumed 2 teaspoons of sugar per day
As of 2009, = 63 teaspoons of sugar each and every day!

Maria has shared her knowledge with me and I was amazed at the amount of sugar in things like ketchup, BBQ sauce and pasta sauce. Even the "healthy" organic Z bars I was letting the kids have had too much sugar.
